The director of the Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DNRD), he is also the head of the Permanent Committee of Labour Affairs (PCLA).
DNRD is the government department which provides passport, visa, residency and work permits for the people and businesses in Dubai. It also handles passengers’ entry from the airports and seaports.
The body recently announced that new visa rules will be implemented in Dubai from July 29th. As per the new rules, the costs of some of the visas have gone up, and visit permits have been divided on the basis of the purpose and the duration of stay.
