The slogan “History Rising” screamed at people all across Dubai even as the construction of the building started.
And now, the record-breaking tower is planning to break another one; according to 7 Days, the chronicles of the building’s construction will be recorded in the world’s largest book. The AED5.25 million book will be 16 feet tall and will be made of some of the world’s finest silk-threaded paper. It will reportedly tour 15 cities around the world before becoming a centerpiece in Burj Dubai and will tell the stories of over 100 people who worked on the tower. The book has been commissioned to Kraken Opus, a UK-based company that specializes in manufacturing high-quality outsized books.
The book will be released shortly after Burj Dubai opens later this year.
