Camel milk ice cream is said to be a healthy alternative for diabetics and the lactose-intolerant.
Launched last year, Al Ain Dairy’s camel milk ice cream variant has a six-month shelf life and was developed under the supervision of “renowned Italian chef and ice cream specialist” (or so we’re told) Enzo La Blunda.
Weight watchers should know that camel milk ice cream contains only 2.5 per cent fat, compared to between six and nine per cent for standard ice creams.
Al Ain Dairy’s ice cream comes in strawberry, caramel and chocolate flavours and available in 100 and 350 gram packs.
