Business venture: Being Human merchandise
When: April, 2012
This Bollywood actor started a non-profit organization called ‘Being Human’. Recently ‘Being Human’ tied up with a travel website yatra.com: “by buying a ticket on this online portal, you are making it possible for someone who is not so privilege, to get a better education or treatment for an illness,” said Salman Khan.
Here in Dubai, there has been news of the range Being Human being available at over a 100 stores spread across the UAE. The clothing line includes jeans, t-shirts, trousers, and watches.
It was reported that Salman Khan is also planning to open Being Human chain of cafes and restaurants—though there is no news about plans to open in the UAE as of now.

Business ventures: Paris Hilton handbags and accessories store
When: May, 2011
The infamous Paris Hilton has launched over 38 stores worldwide; the top selling items at her store include her signature line of affordable luxury handbags, accessories and perfumes. The first store in the Middle East was launched in Deira City Centre.

Business ventures: Jamie’s Italian – an Italian restaurant
When: November 2010
The British celebrity chef and TED prize winner Jamie Oliver opened his first international restaurant in Dubai. Dubai real estate agency Al Futtaim Group teamed up with the chef to open the restaurant in Festival city.
The 290-seater restaurant opened in late November in 2010 at the Festival Centre Canal Walk in Dubai Festival City.
With fifteen outlets in the UK, this is the first international Jamie’s Italian restaurant since the first outlet opened in Oxford in May 2008.

Business ventures: Humayun Saeed’s – a Men’s fashion boutique
The Pakistani actor said it was his brother who came up with the idea of opening up a men’s boutique.
The boutique is located in Bur Dubai and is most well known for beautiful sherwani and kurtas.

Business ventures: Crossover Bollywood Se – a celebrity-style fashion apparel house

The Bollywood actor and owner of a chain of boutiques and restaurants called Mischief in India launched a celebrity fashion retail store called ‘Crossover Bollywood Se’ that is franchised by Dubai-based Meghna Anil Pagarani.
The store’s fashion-centered theme includes The Style Lounge - a 'one-stop-shop' for designer clothing; Hakim Aalim's Salon - the celebrity hairstylist; Adora Jewellery - the signature series jewellery lounge; and finally, Chill out Café.
The store is located in Bur Dubai and sells designer labels of Indian fashion designers and also jewellery, footwear.
