A singer, songwriter, performer and producer, Christina Aguilera will be performing later this month at the launch party of the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Dubai. The $800m development is the first joint venture between Nakheel and the Trump Organization, and is due for completion in May 2011.
Aguilera’s first big break came with a part on the Disney Channel’s The New Mickey Mouse Club. Her song, Reflection, for Disney’s Mulan, led to a deal with RCA records, and she released a self-titled debut album in 1999, which included hits like Genie in a Bottle. The five-time Grammy award singer also launched a new perfume line in 2007 through Procter & Gamble.
