The former Argentine football player has just announced that he is planning to open his first sports café in Dubai, which is expected to be modeled after the Hard Rock Café chain. The café is expected to be up and running next year, somewhere in Jumeirah Beach Residence.
Revenue from the café will be donated to the Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina against Malnutrition (IIMSAM) to help its global battle against malnutrition.
The current coach of the Argentina national football team, Maradona is best known for captaining the Argentina team to its 1986 World Cup victory.
