When US president Barack Obama took his oath, there was a general feeling hope going around; people around the world seemed to believe that all will be alright again.
“To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect,” Obama said in his inaugural speech.
“We hope this encouraging statement, coupled with a change in America’s previous policies toward the Muslim world, will help improve our nation’s image and promote a safe and prosperous future for all of humanity,” Nihad Awad, the executive director of the Council on American Islamic Relations told Reuters.
So we decided to ask our readers if they think Obama is going to change their world, for good. Not surprisingly, nearly 15 percent felt that the new US President would bring about direct positive change to their lives, while the majority, 36 percent believed that he will make positive changes indirectly. However, 30 percent of respondents claim that Obama will not make a positive change to their lives at all. A further 11 percent said that he will actually make their lives worse.
Finally, 7 percent of the voters asked “Obama who?”
While he may or may not change your life, it is difficult to ignore Obama. The African-American President has just announced a new Middle East envoy to help resolve the Israel-Palestine conflict, and has promised to end the war in Iraq. His measures to revive the US economy could also help to stabilize the economic slowdown across the world.
But will the new president keep his promises for change?

Why all look at Obama or America always for everything. Every man and country has to think on their own Country and avoid thinking dependability. Ofcourse, due to Obama’s positive thinking and attitude things will definitely change. However, every country has to keep a track and should work together and take an oath that no one support their country fellow to do terrorist activities to a third country for any reason. Terrorist activity or a war is not a solution but the negotiation proces is better than anything. If we are able to reduce us security cost, that fund can be very well utilise for a Country’s development.
