Jimmy Kimmel is a comedian, talk-show host, producer and writer. He runs his own production company, Jackhole Industries, with fellow actors and comedians Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison.
Before starting his own TV show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in 2003, he held a variety of radio jobs. Kimmel is also known for his on and off relationship with comedian Sarah Silverman.
In 2008, Silverman thanked Kimmel upon receiving her award at the Creative Arts Emmy for the satirical “I’m F—— Matt Damon” video.
“Thanks to the person for whom this whole video was made: Jimmy Kimmel, who broke my heart – ohh, who’ll always have a place in my heart,” said Silverman.
