An actor, writer, comedian and producer, Fey launched her career when she became the first female head-writer for comedy series “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) in 1999. She made her debut appearance on SNL co-anchoring Weekend Update with Jimmy Fallon in 2000. In 2006, Fey also created and starred in her comedy series “30 Rock”.
Known for her trademark glasses and nerdy persona, she made a strong impression on the comedy world with her imitation of Sarah Palin on SNL.
