With Eid this likely to fall just after the weekend, many families are hoping to go on a short break. Airlines and hotels are offering several deals, hoping to lure tourists and boost falling numbers.
“We are expecting to be above 85 percent [in room occupancy] for all of our hotels with [guests from the] GCC mainly,” Benedicte Flouriot, marketing manager for the Address Hotels and Resorts told Maktoob Business.
Travel companies are hoping to see a 5 percent increase in business during Eid this year compared to last year, executives told Emirates Business.
Etihad Airways, Emirates and Air Arabia have cut their fares and launched holiday offers during Eid. Dnata Holidays is also offering customers half price deals at hotels and resorts across the world.
