Five games to play at the office
We all need to take a break from work, right?

Here are Kipp’s favourite online games to play in between all that filing – and tips on how not to get caught.
If you are looking for a game that will pass the time, Monkey Lander is the perfect choice. You (the flying monkey, of course) must collect fruit, avoid obstacles and land safely to get to the next level.
Want a game that will make you think, just a little? Try Demolition City. The player must destroy each building using dynamite; you may think this sounds easy, but give it a go and you’ll see how hard this can be.
You’ve played Pong and Breakout before, right? But how about the two together? Using your mouse to control the batons for both games at once, Pongout is bound to keep you on your toes.
Zombies? At work? What more could you ask for? See if you can protect your house from attack; it is harder than you think, just wait until you get to the higher levels.
Only one button required, Canabalt definitely makes the favourites list. Using the space bar to jump from building to building at a rapid speed without crashing into boxes or falling. It’s a winner.
When playing games at work, it’s essential you don’t get caught. Kipp’s tried-and-tested tips include:
– Play games that require just a little of your attention, allowing you to
keep an eye out for any urgent emails
– Turn down the volume. Having sound effects blurting out will only get you noticed
– Have another browser open that you can pull up when the boss comes around.
Now get back to work!
