The much anticipated event of GITEX’s technology week is the GITEX Shopper. The Shopper is an 8 day shopping extravaganza that includes promotions, competitions, interactive visitors’ attractions, and much more.
Each year the event witnesses exciting offers and deals, display of new products and services, and a lot of unexpected surprises. One of these surprises in GITEX’s 2011 edition is Fujitsu’s lightweight notebooks and heavyweight Nara. The latter is a Japanese sumo wrestler expected to be present at GITEX Shopper 2011 to promote the light Fujitsu laptops. Visitors will have the chance to take a picture, arm wrestle, and even enjoy a tug-of-war with Nara who weights 66 Fujitsu Lifebooks (165 kg). In addition, visitors this year have the chance to visit Virgin Megastore, who is making its first appearance at GITEX Shopper.
