Hans Blix

The former Iraq arms inspector is to head the advisory board of the UAE nuclear program. All well and good… But how is Blix linked to Saddam Hussein (via ‘Brangelina’)?

Saddam Hussein

Saddam Hussein was the President of Iraq from 1979 until 2003; he was executed in 2006.

Hans Blix says he experienced various ‘cat and mouse games’ when searching for ‘weapons of mass destruction’ in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq back in 2002. Blix and his team carried out some 700 inspections at 500 sites where, according to western intelligence and other supposedly reliable sources, WMD were suspected to have been stored.

For all their efforts, they found nothing more than a handful of empty chemical munitions. The war on Iraq went ahead regardless.
