Is Crowne Plaza’s Sleep Kit a real snooze fest?

Kipp asked one of its sleep-deprived readers to test Crowne Plaza's Sleep Advantage Kit. And his diary reveals it delivers the "Zzzz" but not the Aaaahhh.

In this age of information, we are constantly bombarded with messages—from ads on TV and print to tweets and Facebook alerts. Stimulants are everywhere and it’s not just in your coffee cup. So it’s not a surprise that some of us are finding it hard to get a good shut eye.

Enter Crowne Plaza. As part of the Intercontinental Hotels Group, the hotel is trying a Snore Absorption Room and is also providing its guests with a Sleep Advantage Kit, which its PR team says “soothes, relaxes and promotes a better night’s sleep.”

So we wanted to put the Sleep Kit to the test. Does it really help us over-stimulated people into getting some much coveted sleep? Well we got one of our sleep deprived avid Kipp readers (who probably loses sleep from constantly checking on Kippreport.com) to put the Sleep Kit to the test.
