David Beckham

David and his wife, Victoria Beckham have three boys: Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz. Brooklyn and Romeo’s Godparents are Elton John and Elizabeth Hurley.

Beckham has become one of Britain’s most well known football players and is considered by many to be England’s best player.

He started his professional career at the age of 17 with Manchester United and eventually became the national team’s captain. In 2004, he left Manchester United to play with Real Madrid, but to the team’s disappointment they came in fourth place in the first season. Beckham moved to the United States in 2007 after signing a $250 million contract to play with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team. Despite having won numerous awards and being the “highest paid team athlete” in the US, Beckham did not play in many matches due to the numerous injuries he had playing with the new team.
