India's largest domestic carrier by market share, Jet is all set to fly to Dubai later this month. It will be the country's first private airline to land in the city.

Jet Airways was founded by former travel agent Naresh Goyal in 1993. Based in Mumbai, it currently runs a fleet of 85 aircraft, which includes 10 Boeing 777s, 54 Boeing 737s and 10 Airbus A330s. The carrier operates around 380 flights everyday to 62 destinations within India and overseas including the US, UK, China, Canada, south-east Asia, and the Gulf. The airline plans to extend its international operations in North America, Europe and Africa.
It’s fully owned subsidiary Jet Lite (formerly Air Sahara), currently has a fleet of 24 aircraft, and operates around 127 flights daily.
