The UK media is currently buzzing with reports that the Abu Dhabi-backed Manchester City has offered AC Milan $150 million in cash to buy former World Player of the Year, Kaka.
Named both FIFA World Player of the Year and European Footballer of the Year in 2007, the 26-year-old Brazilian helped his club, Italy’s AC Milan, to European and world titles last year.
An evangelical Christian, Kaka has talked publicly about becoming a minister when he retires from the game. In 2007, he celebrated Milan’s victory at the FIFA Club World Cup final wearing a T-shirt that read “I Belong to Jesus”.
