The chairman of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is currently spearheading the expansion of Abu Dhabi International Airport; its new midfield terminal is said to accommodate 20 million passengers per year when its first phase opens in late 2011. The ADAC also manages the Al Ain International Airport.
