The chairman of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is currently spearheading the expansion of Abu Dhabi International Airport; its new midfield terminal is said to accommodate 20 million passengers per year when its first phase opens in late 2011. The ADAC also manages the Al Ain International Airport.
Al Mazrouei is also the chairman of the World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi, and a member of the board of Tourism Development and Investment Company, and the Al Club.
Before heading ADAC, Al Mazrouei managed a number of projects at Abu Dhabi government’s investment arm, Mubadala.
