Our favourite ‘go-to’ mall, owned by Majid Al Futtaim (MAF), announces yet another expansion plan dubbed ‘Evolution 2015’.
We’ve all seen the closed-off sections of Mall of the Emirates, and may have found ourselves wondering, what is going on?
MAF announces that it will be adding even more cinema screens, and by more, we mean an entirely new ‘VOX Cinemas experience’, as well as an abundance of new dining experiences. These new attractions will be included in the 25,000 square metres of new leasing space that they have begun creating.
If you have any concerns about finding a place to park when you visit this new space, don’t worry, they thought of everything; MAF adds that they will be building a new parking area with a 1,300-car capacity.
“More space for luxury maisons, the introduction of new fashion brands, an enhanced dining experience and a state-of-the-art cinema destination – these are some of the most anticipated elements, and what we are turning into reality at Mall of the Emirates today,” says Dmitri Vazelakis, executive managing director of shopping malls at MAF Properties.
MAF also states that it has created this space to accommodate existing premium retailers, which will, in turn, satisfy mall visitors.
