The world number one, Woods has played in the Dubai Desert Classic numerous times, and in 2007, also a signed an agreement with the tournament promoters that he would compete in the event at least three times in the next four years.
“I always enjoy visiting Dubai, it’s an extremely hospitable place where the people and the tournament organizers treat the players so well,” Woods said at the time.
And his love for the city also led him to design a 55 million sq ft golf community project called Tiger Woods Dubai. The development will feature a golf course, a golf academy and a luxury boutique hotel.
Earlier this year, Woods also said that he was hoping to play golf in the future along with one of the world’s most powerful leaders…
