A staunch Buddhist, Seagal was revealed to be a reincarnation (tulku) of a Buddhist master Chungdrag Dorje in 1997.
The 57-year-old American actor rose to fame for his role as an action hero in the movie Above the Law in 1988. Seagal, a 7th degree black belt and Aikido master, has acted in more than 30 movies since then, most of them furthering his role as a rough and tough fighter.
Apart from being an actor, Seagal is also a blues musician, and has released two albums-Songs from the Crystal Cave, and Mojo Priest.
A few years back, the actor also came out with his own brand of energy drinks, called Steven Seagal’s Lightning Bolt, which he claimed is made with Tibetan berries. “I have traveled the world creating this drink; there is none better that I know,” Seagal said while releasing the drink. “I have included in this drink everything I could to strengthen the body.”
Most reviews of the drink however, were far from healthy.
