His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, is stable and recovering after suffering stroke earlier this year.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, reassures citizens and residents of the UAE that Sheikh Khalifa’s health is fine, reports state news agency, WAM.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also adds that all news on social media sites about the President’s health were mere rumours, urging everyone to be cautious and validate the transfer of information and news “in order to use modern technology and social networking sites for the benefit of our society and country”.
Sheikh Mohamed exchanged greetings and cordial talks on the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan and its virtues at his residence at Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi yesterday (Sunday, July 6).
