The 74- year-old host of CNN’s Larry King Live, he has done more than 40,000 interviews in broadcasting including exclusive sit-downs with every US president since Gerald Ford. His show is the channel’s highest rated program. An Emmy Award-winner, King has been dubbed “the most remarkable talk-show host on TV ever” by TV Guide and “master of the mike” by TIME magazine.
King started his career in radio, and debuted on CNN in 1985. He has interviewed a wide range of people- politicians, celebrities, psychics and murderers.
He founded the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, which raises money and provides cardiac procedures for needy children and adults and also established a $1 million journalism scholarship at George Washington University for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
