Ramzi Raad, Chairman and CEO of TBWA/Raad, has a lot of followers if Kipp’s Power List voting results are anything to go by. Raad has been holding the top spot since last week with 53,328 promotions—a good number to more than offset the 5,062 clicks made to demote him from the number one rank.
Will he remain in the top spot? Well you’ve got 15 days to either make sure he stays there or to knock him down to put someone else on as the Most Powerful person in the Media, Marketing and Advertising industry.
In second place is Menacom Chairman and CEO Joseph Ghoussoub, having been voted 52,026 times and demoted 4,328 times, while Leo Burnett Group of Companies MENA CEO Raja Trad occupies third place.
Only four spots in the top ten belong to brand owners, with Marketing VP and CMO Ahmed El Azizi ranked as the most powerful brand owner, having held on to fourth place.
The lone women on the list, Dr. Amina Al Rustamani has slowly made her way up to 13th place—a giant leap from her 27th place standing. Taking her place on 27th is Pierre Choueiri who used to enjoy 5th place ranking, having been promoted only 15 times and demoted another 13 – a shame but
