Ramadan working hours for private sector
Working day to be reduced by two hours

Working hours for private sector employees will be reduced by two hours during Ramadan.
The announcement was made yesterday (Monday, June 23) via a circular issued by Minister of Labour, Saqr Gobash.
Members of the public sector, primarily government employees, will be working from 9am to 2pm.
Ghobash offered his congratulations to the rulers of the country, as well as the remainder of the Islamic world, on the occasion of the Holy Month.
Ramadan is expected to begin on June 29.
