With controversies and millionaires, reality TV has managed to capture audiences across the world.

Five of the top 10 most-watched programs of 2008 in the US were unscripted, according to Nielsen Media Research. It also says that nine of the 10 programs with the most product placement spots in 2008 were unscripted.
While it’s impossible to get a decisive list on the most popular shows, tv.com lists these shows as the top ten all time winners.
