Tommy Lee Jones, born in Texas, moved to New York after graduating from Harvard University. He began his career in theater, performing on Broadway in A Patriot For Me in 1969.

He made his film debut in 1970 in the film Love Story. He then went on to act various TV shows including the original Charlie’s Angels. The actor made his directorial debut in 1995 with the film The Good Old Boys.

Jones is most well-known for his roles in movies such as Men in Black (I and II), No Country For Old Men and In the Valley of Elah.
