Robert Greifeld was in Dubai recently to explain the rebranding of the DIFX to Nasdaq Dubai. His trip is a tell-tale sign that the local market in for a serious shake-up.
Why? Because Greifeld likes to get things done. He’s the chief operating officer of NASDAQ OMX Group, a director of Partnership of New York City and a corporate fund board member at the Kennedy Center. More recently, he was appointed the vice chairman of NASDAQ Dubai.
Before joining NASDAQ OMX, Greifeld was an executive vice president at SunGard Data Systems Inc.
