“I would love Manmohan Singh to be the Prime Minister. I think he is very smart man and a genius,” the Bollywood actor said last month.
Known for being shirtless both on and off screen, Khan started his acting carrier in 1988 by doing a supporting role in the movie “Biwi Ho To Aisi”. But fame came a year later with the romantic hit “Maine Pyar Kiya”.
Since then, he has gone on to act in numerous movies including “Andaz Apna Apna”, “Karan Arjun”, and more recently, “No Entry” and “Partner”.
Salman Khan has constantly courted controversy off-screen; he has been arrested for killing protected wild animals; in 2002, was arrested for rash and negligent driving; and around three fatwas have been issued against him.
