The 68-year-old was recently in Dubai to launch the Cavalli Club with a private party for more than 400 friends. Called the first designer club in the Middle East, the $30 million club has an Italian restaurant, sushi bar, a nightclub and a boutique, and features floors made of black quartz and 20-foot-high ceilings with Swarovski crystals.
“This is the perfect place to express the futuristic concept of the Cavalli Club,” Cavalli said. “Dubai is experimentation, research of the new, and so is my fashion.”
The Italian designer has boutiques around the world in various countries including the US, Italy, France, UK, China, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, South Africa, Brazil and India.
