Roy Haddad is appointed WPP Mena director

Haddad, based in Beirut, will continue as Chairman for JWT MEA

Roy Haddad, chairman and CEO of JWT MEA Group has just been appointed WPP MENA director.
He is now responsible of coordinating WPP in Mena. The new appointment will see him give up executive duties at JWT MEA, but remain Chairman of the company. This could also be the sign of the development of groupM in the Mena region, as he chairs the boards of Mindshare, Mediacom and AMRB.
Known As the founding father of the regional industry, Haddad lived in Paris, New York, London and is currently based in Beirut. He started his advertising career in 1977, prior to setting up his own business that focused on the Arab consumer, in London in 1984. His agency was eventually acquired by, JWT.
