Saad Hariri, the son of the slain ex-Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, is a Lebanese-Saudi businessman turned politician. He became the head of the Future Movement in 2005 after his father’s assassination, and is Lebanon’s parliamentary majority leader.
Hariri is also a board member and the general manager of Saudi Oger Ltd, the chairman of Oger Telecom, and a board member and the chairman of Saraya Holdings.
Hariri has managed the Hariri empire since 1996; it includes banking, real estate and media through companies such as Saudi Investment Bank, Saudi Research and Marketing Group and Future Television.
According to Arabian Business, he is currently worth $2.6 billion.
