Not that he needs an introduction; Santa Claus is also known as St. Nicolas, Father Christmas, and Kris Kringle. He’s a fat, jolly, old man who knows if you’ve been naughty or nice.
The legend of Santa Claus began with Nicholas, a Bishop in Myra (currently in Turkey) who was known for his generosity, his secret gift-giving and his love for children.
Today, he’s a westernized, overweight man who flies around the world every Christmas Eve delivering toys and presents in a sled pulled by nine reindeers: Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, Dancer, Dasher, Donder, Prancer, Vixen and of course…
