Sulaiman al-Fahim
Often called the “Donald Trump of Abu Dhabi”, al-Fahim started real estate company Hydra Properties in 2005, and within two years the company had launched over $2 billion worth of projects. Sulaiman al-Fahim is a popular man; he has been pictured with Pamela Anderson and Demi Moore, and is the star of reality TV show The Hydra Executives, which offers the winner a prize of $1 million to invest in property.
As one of the most talked about Arab businessmen, al-Fahim has also received some negative press. Some investors have also alleged that his company, Hydra Properties, does not have the funds to complete all of its projects.
Al-Fahim also came under the spotlight after he helped the Abu Dhabi take-over of football club Manchester City from its previous owner…
