Shahrukh Khan vs Brad Pitt

Kipp compares two of the world's biggest actors, The King Khan and that other guy.

Shahrukh Khan (Shah Rukh Khan)

Career

The king of Bollywood began his acting career in television; in 1988, he landed the role of Abhimanyu Rai in a popular series called Fauji, and in 1989, he acted as Senior in In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones, among others.

In 1992, he made his film debut in as Raj Mathur Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. He has since made over 70 movies, many of which have been successful. One of his films, the 1995 hit Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, remained in cinemas across India for over 10 years.

His latest project, My Name is Khan, is about racial profiling, making the incident at Newark airport last week ironic. He was travelling to the US to promote his movie, but was detained for questioning as part of routine security checks. Neither Khan nor his estimated 3.5 billion fans reacted well to the incident.

Score: 9

Accolades

Aside from his 11 Filmfare awards and his numerous nominations, Khan was listed on Newsweek’s list of the world’s most powerful people. He was number 41.

He has also been awarded a number of titles over the years, including India’s Padma Shri in 2005, one of the government’s highest civilian awards.

Score: 10

Looks

This category nearly started a riot in Kipp’s headquarters, leaving one journalist foaming at the mouth, and an editor with a suspicious lump on her arm.

Clearly, Khan’s looks don’t appeal to everyone.

But let’s just say it as it is: the man has a substantial schnozzle, and his open shirt policy isn’t sexy. It’s cheesy. So is his my-hair-and-open-shirt-are-blowing-in-the-wind look.

Score: 5

Fan base

It’s impossible to tell exactly how many people idolize Khan, but according to Time magazine, the king’s got over 3.5 billion fans worldwide. 3.5 billion! He’s the world’s biggest star.

Score: 10

Life in the media

He loves it. He’s been quoted as saying that he loves being mobbed when he’s walking down the street.

It’s only fitting, therefore, that he is featured regularly in Indian gossip magazines. However, Khan insists he is a happily married man (with two kids), and most of the stories published about him are untrue.

Score: 7

Final score: 41

    3.5billion fans??? What rubbish!!!

The worlds biggest star in the last 50 years has been MIchael Jackson!! He is known ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! Even he will not have 3.5billion fans.

  2. Amjad on August 18, 2009 5:32 pm

according to Time magazine, the king’s got over 3.5 billion fans worldwide. 3.5 billion!!

Also according to Time magazine Iraq had weapons of mass destruction so America can invade them.

Truth: No one has 3.5billion fans, and Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction!

  3. clifford on August 18, 2009 7:37 pm

3.5 billion no way!….1 billion seems pretty unlikely too but more probable

but there is no doubt SRK has more fans than Pitt…Asia is heaviliy overpopulated hence so are his fans ;) and he has a humongous fanbase overseas.

  4. Nitika on August 18, 2009 8:05 pm

Brad Pitt is popular – no doubt because Hollywood is big, but the important thing to note is that even based on just the Bollywood movies – SRK has fan base accross the world including UK, Middle East, Aus, China…except in US it is not as popular because Bollywood movies are watched by only South Asian community, but with SRK’s new movie My Name Is Khan (MNIK) he will be even bigger than Brad Pitt. Also, the main difference is that even though he is biggest star in the world, he is happily married to his childhood sweetheart with two beutiful kids! The man is amazingly intelligent and charming!

  5. Prithvi on August 18, 2009 8:13 pm

OMG Amjad, dont get jealous now ;)

I am a non-Indian US person who stumbled across Shahrukh Khan and Bollywood movies a few years ago and after that I’m totally enamored of his movies. He’s the most dynamic and charismatic performer in the world. He has more charisma than any 10 Hollywood stars combined! He is very witty, too, in interviews and speaks English fluently and is well spoken and creatively humorous in his interviews. I never get why some critics online say he is not handsome, you have to be joking. He’s extremely handsome and appealing with those dimples. He has such a strong sexy earthy energy….and can that man dance!

  8. Petra on August 18, 2009 10:58 pm

Shahrukh Khan is such an intelligent, caring, person with enormous talent and charm. No one is anywhere near as romantic as he is in his songs. No one else dances with such energy and joy. He’s funny and uniquely handsome

  9. Kamran on August 18, 2009 11:52 pm

He does have 3.5 billion fans if not more, you chamcha-idiot (Amjad). He is watched and loved all over south Asia (1.5 billion people), he is also very popular in the arab nations, in Afghanistan, Central asia and he is extremely popular in Africa. Ask a Nigerian or Ethopian what they think of SRK and you will be surprised. Michael Jackson was huge, but his style of music was not accepted in much of the muslim world and cultures where provocative/sexual behavior is unacceptable. SRK was is loved all over because of his unique style and movies which appeal to everyone (partially due to lack of nuditiy). Amjad, you are a chamcha, and that is why us Indian were occupied for centuries. And SRK is not a 5-millions of women do want him. Most would say he is a 7 or 8 in looks.

  10. Hari on August 19, 2009 12:38 am

King Khan is the greatest star in the world,Mr.Amjad.
In some countries the only Indian figure people know is him.
He’s getting more and more popular as he’s getting older.
The NewsWeek Magazine is not a Fool to Place him in the Most Influential 50 People of the world.at the 41st Place.
He’s the only actor in the list.
more than the half of the world’s Population is his fan.
His this popularity can never be explained.

  11. beba on August 19, 2009 12:58 am

Who’s Brad Pitt to compare him to King Khan ;) Just another average actor. There’s someone who has got 3,5 billion fans. And this is Shah Rukh Khan. :D Others simply don’t know him. Yet :)
Funny comparison. How to compare someone who is incomparable? There’s no one who can stand even near Shah Rukh.
And yes, Shah Rukh hasn’t got Pitt’s looks. He’s got much better one :D

  12. jagibaby on August 19, 2009 1:23 am

    Brad who???
    Period!

  13. vick on August 19, 2009 2:58 am

wot about rajnikanth..i heard he had bigger fan base than amitabh bachchan n SRK combined. it was cited in INDIAN media post SHIVAJI release..how bout that?????

so guys..dont follow these stupid numbers.. media lies most of the time.. it has been proven so many times.dont buy wot ever they say

  14. Christy on August 19, 2009 4:18 am

I am an American of Western European descent (yeah, that means I’m a white girl) born and raised in small town America and I adore Shah Rukh Khan!!
Why on earth should he have Brad Pitt’s looks? I (and about 1.5 billion other women) happen to think Shah Rukh is gorgeous and incredibly sexy. Watch just one of his movies and you’ll be hooked. The man’s charisma is simply amazing. I’ve never seen any other actor on screen look at a woman the way he does.
He also happens to be extremely intelligent and well-spoken. I had the privilege of meeting him this weekend after the “incident” and he was kind and charming and attentive to his fans in a way much lesser stars never are.
If he comes to the U.S less because of this it is truly our loss.

  15. Sandi on August 19, 2009 4:34 am

SRK has more charisma in his adorable little finger (or his hair, which has its own fanclub) than Brad Pitt could even imagine in a lifetiume. In fact, he is IMPOSSIBLY handsome (and charming with it)

does ANY star in Hollywood have a movie that’s still running after almost 14 years? Shah Rukh does…

    I rest my case.

  16. thilina on August 19, 2009 6:08 am

are u silly amjad. Knowing some one and becoming a fan is two things. If you are silly go to a psycho hospital. Sharuk has 3.5 billion fans and more. In sri lanka every villager knows whos sharuk. But they dont know jackson even they know they talk about his girlish skin and child abuse.

  17. sheha on August 19, 2009 6:53 am

hahah who is pitt. obvouly SRK has more than 3.5 bllion fans, he is a global icon. what more amazing is the love his million fans have for him. they consider him as the motivation and strength. the journey of the man from a very educated middle class boy in to a suge global icon, his true life story and his unbeliveeble personality do the trick for him. nOT ONLY usa magazines, even every world publication shows SRK is the most well known star. may be he is less known in USA. but he has tremendous fan follwing in all other parts, the guy is a craze in london, france, germeny too. they have his statues…… he is the biggest super star not according to ONLY USA magazines, but according to all world no 1 publicaons.surely not on jealous zero minded only limited to a city and not traveled across the globe to realise who is srk out side of their country.

  18. John Chua on August 19, 2009 8:50 am

SRK a GLOBAL star? Probably with Indians worldwide. Ask someone not from the sub-continent but from places like China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea and they will probably ask “SRK who?”.

The whole episode is probably just a publicity stunt for his new movie. Sigh…read between the lines pple…

  19. Noor on August 19, 2009 9:06 am

OMG!!! No way!!!! Pitt kicks the indians guy’s ass anytime!! no comparison to start with!!!

3.5 Billion???? where did they come from?? Im not (nor any of anyone i know) is a fan! so who are they?

    This is unfair!! tie BS!!

  20. sean on August 19, 2009 9:09 am

I am not an indian but i love shah rukh khans movies i think he is simpley the BEST period. And Amjad is a hater for sure

  21. nish on August 19, 2009 9:43 am

    C’mon guys accept the facts
    1) Lukswise SRK is far better say 8 compared to Pitt 5.
    2) In many europian contries they show SRK movies on TV channels dubbed in their language.
    3) I think once these western viewers will see SRK performing on screen they will agree.

But my man is AMITABH BACCHAN the mastro.

  22. OFiroz on August 19, 2009 11:56 am

I didn’t watch many SRK or Brad Pitt Movies, only those which rippled news and attention, like SRK’s Dil Se, Darr etc, Brad’s Ocean’s eleven and the latest Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Both are amazingly talented actors, but if you put your money for charisma and charm I surely think it should be SRK! Brad Pitt is not a match. If you leave the fan base I think Tom Cruise is better match for SRK. And the whole success SRK is tasting now is without any help of a Godfather or Mafia boss which is necessary in Bollywood to become a star. He struggled, fought with odds and became a star bigger than Amithabh Bacchan! Countries second biggest star who has been in the industry for 4 decades!!!
Spontaneous jokes and witty attitude makes SRK bigger than any entertainer. In my book, Brad Pitt is not a match for SRK!

  23. Janni on August 19, 2009 12:00 pm

Wow, Indian movie fans have a major inferiority complex! Who cares?

  24. Melanie on August 19, 2009 12:37 pm

WOW! How amazing. Of course, I am a devoted SRK fan! Never did like Brad Pitt that much but can appreciate his star qualities. To Mr John Chua, I think you are wrong to think that people in China, Korea, etc wouldn’t know SRK. The Bollywood films are some of the few “outsiders” films allowed to be shown for the simple reason that they are not political, not offensive, and as somebody else mentioned, no nudity.
In the end does it really matter what this Kipp person wrote, when you know who’s movies you love to watch (SRK!) and when they are being interviewed you always make sure you watch (SRK!). LOL. I LOVE YOU SRK!!! and I’m a white Aussie girl (gauri).

  25. kasim on August 19, 2009 1:07 pm

haters, shahrukh khan is big, if u lyk it or not. u hve it in black and white. he was voted in at no.41 on the power list. the only actor on the list. so why hate?

  26. YOU on August 19, 2009 2:19 pm

who ‘s the hell is KING KHAN ???? is that a person whahahahaha,or only know in india ??? ( I SAY INDIA BCS OF THE NAME ) however BRAD PITT is well known around the planet!!!

  27. Shashi on August 19, 2009 2:38 pm

3.5 billion fans?, did they pull this figure out of someone’s a** or what?. SRK is the most popular Indian actor granted, but he’s no global icon, a global icon is someone whose fame crosses nations, cultures and languages, people like Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee and Michael Jackson are global icons, not SRK. He is mostly known in South Asia and amongst South Asian diaspora, they are the ones that form the vast bulk of his fanbase.

The average American, European, East-Asian and South-East Asian have never heard of him.

  28. M J Syed on August 19, 2009 3:27 pm

Senator ted Kennedy was searched in an humiliating way, so was the former Prersident of india and now Sharukh khan. These guys at the airports think they are gods. america should not allow that. There should be reprimand and prosecutions. A person has to be insane to think that either of these three could be a terrorist.

Sharukh Khan should react and call upon his fans to boycott American products. One billiuon or three, the numbers are large enough. It will hurt and the American giant will feel the pinch to react positively.

There is an opprtunity here to help the average guy.

  29. usa on August 19, 2009 3:29 pm

no doubt srk is the best
tou phir ye brad pitt kya cheez hai??!!

  30. Doug on August 19, 2009 3:42 pm

It’s statements like “he’s got more charisma than 10 Hollywood actors combined” and “he’s got more charisma in his little finger” etc. that stop most of us with educations taking you seriously.

I mean, come on, are you all 12 or something? Isn’t it possible to assert he is a good (if niche) actor without having to resort to North Korean-style fawning?

  31. rambo on August 19, 2009 5:26 pm

    who is this SRK character?

  32. Mike on August 19, 2009 6:32 pm

One of the lessons here is that the world’s top actor is no match to a couple pesky immigration officers working the graveyard shift at some airport. Immigration at Newark Airport has always been known to be staffed by “cowboys” of law enforcement. Well, they have now been exposed to billions of people around the world. Let’s publish the officers’ names. Society should not allow a couple people tarnish a whole country.

  33. Judy on August 19, 2009 6:40 pm

I would say SRK is a global icon, because people watch his movies on every continent. Look up all the different languages his videos are subtitled in on Youtube. He has a huge non-Indian fan base in Germany. He was selected to present an Academy Award this year on live television. He’s received state honors in France and Malaysia. His wax replica is in London.
I’d like to hear the American who claims that he has never heard of Shah Rukh Khan name one living Indian he *has* head of.

  34. Kasim on August 19, 2009 6:40 pm

Shah Rukh Khan has many fans aroung the world he is the King of bollywood for christs sake he has to have atleast 3 billions fans worldwide but him vs Pitt is no contest SRK hands down over 80 films and that too many of them are hits and some are still hits.

    SRK 10/10
    Pitt 0/10

  35. Malhaba on August 19, 2009 7:01 pm

Shah Rukh is the greatest actor in the world, a true living legend and the most successful, the most loved actor across the world. He has achieved so much and is still down to earth and humble :D
He takes time out every time to meet his fans and share the love we have for him and he returns it back to us.
There is no one worthy enough to be compared to him. :D

  36. Malhaba on August 19, 2009 7:05 pm

and for your information shashi, SRK IS known to many average American, European, East-Asian and South-East Asian people.

He is also known in Africa, Germany, Poland, Holland, Finland etc.
Malaysians know him to and have honoured him with a Datukship. People in France know and love him too and have given him the French title for Arts & Literature. They have a waaxed statue of him in the Grevin Museum.

So you can see he is a much loved global icon, its just that your too ignorant to look beyond yourself and your kind.

  37. memuna on August 19, 2009 7:10 pm

Shah Rukh you rock and your the BEST! We will always love you! Your fans are always a 100% behind you to support you.
SRK is the most down-to-earth personality you will ever meet! Always humble and gracious, always welcoming and giving warmth, always caring for others. He has also earned the love of his fans and that is why he is so loved. Wherever he goes people are always there to show their love for him.

Shah Rukh is the sexiest of the 2 too :D :D:D

  38. SB on August 19, 2009 7:11 pm

    What an article

easily Shah Rukh is the best, the other guy isnt even worth looking at.

  39. charishma on August 19, 2009 7:50 pm

I dont think Brad Pitt looks better than SRK… Shahrukh is the most attractive man on the earth… SRK is the sexiest man alive….
SRK must be given 10 on 10 for his LOOKs…..
People are Crazy about SRK… I definitely believe that he have a fan base of 3.5 billion people in the world…
Michael Jackson is a famous person… But I dont think that more people like him…
SRK is succesful in his personal & professional life… He is a happily married man… He is not surrounded by controversies linking with women… He didnt rape anyone… He respects women… He is witty… He is clever… he is charming… he is educated… he is talented.. he is sexy… he is handsome… he is humble… he is kind… he behaves well with his fans… he respects his colleagues… Does all these Qualities Michael Jackson & Brad Pitt possess?
He is liked by most of them… And He have the blessings from all of us…

Plzzzzzz dont compare SRK with MICHAEL JACKSON….
It is an Insult to SRK and his fans….

  40. king khan on August 19, 2009 8:42 pm

bollywood is the biggest film industry in the world and SRK is the biggest super star and thats even been written and said many times and showed in bbc

  41. Amjad on August 19, 2009 8:53 pm

Are people so stupid and ignorant to even think that he has got 3.5billion fans??? are you guys silly!! that is just media hype

Who are TIME magazine are they GOD??

Some idiot on this forum compared SRK to Michael Jackson, hahaha Michael Jackson is from a different planet my friend. His death story was the BIGGEST newsstory in EVERY COUNTRY on the planet.

SRK??? he was stopped at an airport and searched they didnt know who he was…

    That says it all..

SRK is not even the biggest star in india. In India he will always be behind Amitabh Bachchan in terms of fame across india. He will be behind Sachin Tendulkar as well. I would also put him behind Aamir Khan in terms of pulling power in india. Ghajini was a mega blockbuster whereas his last fillm billu barber was a flop!

  42. PseudoIntl on August 19, 2009 8:59 pm

  47. Hippo Crit on August 20, 2009 8:22 am

I am an American living in Antarctica… n i really love SRK we get him on the local terrestrial channel all the time after the Freezing news!
I am an Indian who believes Brad Pitt is the best!
Guys come on! Get a life, u just reminded me of the males who make female profiles on facebook and end up having “deep”(cant use other words) conversations with guys.
Even if SRK has all the Indian population (1.2 billion) + 5% of US(15million) + 50% Pakistan n Bangladesh (162million) + all GCC (50million) your still less than 1.5 billion n the bigger countries have been already used. Well except if he is very popular in China…
A reasonable thing to do is check the box office for the movies released by brad and the ones released by SRK, I would have done that but don’t really care that much…
    Love, Hippo

  48. aXXo on August 20, 2009 9:21 am

With all do respect to the indians commented above, this is a non-sence comparison between your SRK and Brad. To be honest, I only knew this SRK just now and I know Brad very well, but they have different market just like in business. Therefore, stop comparing because it’s uncertain! If I am an indian, of course I will say SRK is more popular and if I am white guy then for sure I will say Brad is more popular.

And to above that say’s “I am not indian but SRK is the most popular person in the world, he has 3.5 billion fans!” we’ll you are fan of him i think. And, what funny is I know “Russel Peters” and “Kal Penn” more that this SRK.

Who is popular? For me George Bush! LOL! Ask the arabs!

And BTW I am south asean too…

This will expose 3.5billion figure as FALSE and a lie. 3.5billion figure will e exposed as a myth!!

    Fame and popularity in india.!

Country has 1.3billion population. 50% of of the population would not have a clue who srk is!! go to the poverty stricken places in india where there is no electricity they will not have a clue who SRK is. 50% of the indian population has access to no electricity. We now have 650million people.

From this figure you can half this by 50% as regional states have regional heros, Rajnikanth will be 100 times more popular in tamil nadu than SRK. Chiranjeevi will be 100times more popular than srk in Andra Pradesh and so on..other southern stars will be more famous and popular than SRK in their states.

That now leaves us with 300million who probablly watch hindi films in india.

From the 300million majority will reside in rural places who prefer action movies over “girly movies” of SRks. These people will watch films at single screens and will not help much of the boxoffice as boxoffice today is determined by the multiplex crowd who live in BIG CITIES.

70% of the 300 milliion will be from small towns and rural areas who will not be fans of SRK. Srk is a multiplex hero whose films hardly run at single screens. This is a trade fact which has been mentioned many times by industry people!

This leaves 100million people in india who watch hindi films in multiplexes. From the 100million i would say about 50% will like his movies and may be fans of his movies.

That leaves us with a figure of 50million people in a country of 1.3 billion!!

Overseas his biggest hit to date has been OSO which made 10milllion dollars. What is 10million dollars in hollywood, NOTHING???

Overseas at max his fans will be around 1-2 million.

TOTAL FAN BASE : 52million at max!!.

    Where is the 3.5billion?????

Just like Russel Peters said “Indians are so emphatic or exaggerated when giving complements” Hahahahahaha

Malhaba, the average non-South Asian has never heard of SRK, none of my non-South Asian mates have ever heard of him. Bollywood has a niche market in foreign countries, Bollywood does have non-South Asian fans, but these are a minority, most of the Bollywood audience is made up of people of South-Asian descent, the mainstream moviegoers in foreign countries have never heard of him and that’s a fact, so get over it.

I don’t understand why people are getting upset over this incident, the officers were just doing their jobs, it was more insulting and upsetting that ex-President APJ Kalam was frisked, but no-one made a ruckus over that, but for some reason everyone gets upset when an overhyped, overrated actor, who dances at weddings like a clown for astronomical prices, gets detained!.

A global icon?, don’t make me laugh.

I would take SRK’s looks over Brad Pitt’s anyday, and I’m not Indian or white.

  63. Seb on August 25, 2009 5:17 pm

Well to start with, there are 6,4 billion people on earth, including babies, retired people and a huge majority of people who never went to movie or have TV with cable at home.

Then let me guess, Bolllywood… movies in Indi, even if subtitiled in English… we’re even far from 1B (that is if you include babies, poor people without TV, etc.)

Do you think police would stop Brad Pitt in Mumbay for routine search by the way? This guy is for sure a big Star in India and with Indian community worldwide, but doesn’t even come near Brad Pitt in terms of stature worldwide.

Then on the question of the most handsome, that’s question of personal taste I believe.

So I understand you guys are extactic about SRK and probably dream about him at night, but please, keep your feet on the ground !!

Shahrukh Khan (Hindi: शाहरुख़ ख़ान, Urdu: شاہ رُخ خان; born 2 November 1965), sometimes credited as Shah Rukh Khan, is an Indian actor and a prominent Bollywood figure, as well as a film producer and television host. Khan began his career appearing in several television serials in the late 1980s. He made his film debut in Deewana (1992). Since then, he has been part of numerous commercially successful films and has earned critical acclaim for many of his performances. Khan has won thirteen Filmfare Awards for his work in Indian films, seven of which are in the Best Actor category.

Khan’s films such as Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Chak De India (2007), Om Shanti Om (2007) and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) remain some of Bollywood’s biggest hits, while films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Veer-Zaara (2004), Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) and My Name Is Khan (2010) have been top-grossing Indian productions in the overseas markets, making him one of the most successful actors of India.[2] Since 2000, Khan branched out into film production and television presenting as well. He is the founder/owner of two production companies, Dreamz Unlimited and Red Chillies Entertainment. Khan is today considered to be the world’s most successful movie star,[3] with a fan following numbering in the billions[4] and a net worth estimated at over Rs 2500 crore (US$ 540 million).[5] In 2008, Newsweek named him one of the 50 most powerful people in the world.[3]

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (Hindi: दिलवाले दुल्हनिया ले जाएँगे; English: The Big Hearted Will Take the Bride), also known as DDLJ, is an Indian film. It premiered on 19 October 1995 and was released nationwide on 20 October 1995. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was directed by Aditya Chopra, and stars Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, and Amrish Puri.

Earning over Rs 580 million in India and Rs 175 million overseas, the film became the biggest Bollywood hit of the year,[1] as well as one of the biggest Bollywood hits of all time.[2] The movie remains the longest running film in the history of Indian cinema. In February 2010, the film set a record by completing 750 weeks of continuous play in Mumbai theatres.[3] On October 20th, 2009 the movie completed 15 years of non-stop running.[4] The film was included in the Cinema India showcase, “The Changing Face of Indian Cinema”, which toured the United States in July and August 2004.[5] Indiatimes Movies ranks the movie amongst the 25 Must See Bollywood Films.[6] It was also listed among the only two Hindi films in the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die list.

You cannot compare the two. I don’t know why Indians are so obsessed with making comparison as to who is best. I think they are both good in what they do. And they work for two very different industries. Bollywood tends to make more melo-dramatic type of movies whereas hollywood is very different. on top of that, as you stated, hollywood does not produce as many movies as does bollywood. thus, brad pitt may have one movie in a year or two. whereas, SRK may have 4 movies released withing the same year.

Shah Rukh Khan is so far more sexy and interesting looking than Brad Pitt. It’s silly to compare them. Brad Pitt is like an aging Ken doll, just another pretty boy getting older at a fast rate. He’s gaining weight and looks middle aged. Shah Rukh on the other hand is so unique looking. He moves so well and makes such a great romantic lead. And funny too! He’s hilarious and really knows how to do comedy well. Pitt doesn’t have a clue when it comes to comedy.

Some facts you have wrong is that SRK is a Muslim not a Hindu. His dog you mention died years ago, he has 3 others now.

SRK is articulate and generous with his time for his fans and India. Brad? Not so much. Also, the dancing and performing that Indian actresses and actors do is not required of their counterparts in the US — therefore, SRK has more entertainment skills. SRK is versatile. He can give a rousing speech to his country, host a tv show with children, dance, and do stunts. He has the timing for comedy and the concentration for sadness, fear, anxiety, and all the rest. They are both easy on the eyes and how we love each of their smiles to brighten our day. Brad allows little access to his fans while SRK twitters, gives wonderful long interviews. Youtube is proof that he always has. Although he has been criticized for “being everywhere”, I say: “What?!” Criticized?! Makes no sense to me.

Stunning answers….surely, the writers are from the subcontinent…..SRK (luckily, only having seen 3 of his films….by force of a couple indian friends) is a joke compared to Pitt. Brad Pitt is one of the best actors in cinema today, regardless of his paparazzi looks. Noone that isn’t Asian will know who SRK is….NOT in NY, not anywhere where the influence is predominantly Indian. if you think that SRK is better looking or more talented than Pitt….pull out your passport and the answer will become clear. You know the truth. In fact, why is SRK even being compared? Why not Amir Khan or even Salman Khan or John Abraham? SRK is horrible looking and an arrogant jerk. Amir Khan and Brad Pitt are reading your comments and having a laugh.

We take great pride that SRK is from our country. He single handedly took our Indian cinema to Global. He is not only the biggest star/actor in India but also an iconic figure in the world cinema. There are several countries in the world & their residents only know a single person from India & that is SRK.

And that is proved here also.Read some of the above comments , some people are from US , some from Germany , China & from a few other countries & they have all said that SRK is a huge global star.

If you just go to Facebook , you just can not even imagine how many Facebook users worldwide are having SRK as their profile picture or cover photo & you may not belive me just how many millions of people uses SRK in their names & Khan as their surnames even though they are not muslims.

SRK is a craze in London , Dubai , Germany , Russia , Indonesia , France , Malaysia & several other countries. You can’t even imaging how many SRK fan clubs are there in different parts of the world.

But as usual HATERS WILL ALWAYS BE THERE.But the King will always remain a king.

SRK is also the richest actor of India & has a Net Worth:$540 Million (INR 25 billion) :- http://www.therichest.org/entertainment/shahrukh-khan-net-worth/

SRK is far more reacher than any Hollywood celeb any day.But the point is even after being such a huge global icon , he’s still very modest , down-to-earth & very polite.

There MUST be a reason why Billions of people worldwide love him like hell.Amjad & few other people who are just jealous of his success & don’t know what is a good acting , can go to hell because they don’t know what they are talking about.

Billions of people worldwide CAN NOT GO WRONG.

    SRK Rocks………….enuf said.
