The executive chairman of Dubai Holding’s financial arm, how is he connected to the Indian actress who is rumored to be entering Hollywood?

Since 2007, Soud Ba’alawy has headed the Dubai Group, the financial services company of Dubai Holding. Ba’alawy’s portfolio list is quite long; he is also the chairman of Marfin Financial Group and Dubai Financial, and the vice chairman of Dubai Bank. He was earlier the ex-CEO of Dubai Investment Group and in March this year, was elected to board of NASDAQ OMX.

Ba’alawy has more than ten years experience in banking and investment with Citigroup, and also served as chief investment officer of Dubai Internet City and vice president of the Executive Office. A member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK, he is part of several international conferences.
