Speaking to Ahmed El Azizi – Marketing Vice President and CMO – Pepsico AMEA

“We need to continue to connect with the consumer, to innovate with the consumer, and we ought to be asking, ‘What is it they want next from us?’ rather than reacting to others or to them as well,” says Ahmed El Azizi. When he’s not marketing Pepsico’s products, he plays Pro Evolution Soccer as Barcelona or Real Madrid. His affinity most likely comes from when he took his MBA in Spain. El Azizi’s other indulgence when he has time to himself is reading. He likes sci-fi fantasy and historical fiction, and is currently reading a trilogy about Genghis Khan.
