Tanvir Kanji is the head of Inca Tanvir, an independent integrated communications company and marketing and PR consultancy. It has been recently been announced that Tanvir will be receiving the Dubai 2009 Lynx Advertising Person of the Year Award.
“This honor is indeed a humbling experience. As one of the founding members of the advertising fraternity in this country, I pledge to renew my commitment to this industry which I love and continue to serve it with all the experience I have gained and the knowledge I have acquired over the decades,” said Tanvir Kanji.
Prior to working in the UAE, Kanji worked in India and the Unites States. He arrived in the UAE in 1976 and founded Inca Tanvir, which has been “successfully operating” in the Gulf region since then its inception.
Inca Tanvir group includes the subsidiary company Media Seen, which represents international media for the Gulf and Middle East and Nri Worldwide , a portal for non-resident Indians.
Kanji, a founding member of the UAE Chapter of the International Advertising Association, has served as Vice President and President contributing in establishing an IAA office in Dubai Media City as well as the launching of the chapter’s website.
