The accessibility and ease of use that Amazon presented on the internet also turned a page for writers who now have the power to publish their own materials. Take for instance a new initiative launched by Borders which allows authors to turn their own blogs andother documents into e-books available on Kindle, iPad and iPhone. If you want your book distributed to retailers, Borders pays you a 100% post retail royalties for books sold on Borders.com and 95% post-retail royalties for books sold on other websites.
