Merchandise? Apparently Rowling isn’t making enough cash off the books alone, or the films… There are simply too many forms of Harry Potter merchandise for us to even list them here. Unsurprisingly, it is a pretty lucrative market; it is estimated that the Harry Potter video games alone have raked in $1 billion. Then there are DVD’s , soundtracks, audio books, and more. Every kind of licensed, trademark goods is out there, including chocolates, clothing, and toys. (Kipp once broke a friend’s Harry Potter wand, and never heard the end of it.) Harry Potter merchandise has made countless billions of dollars.
