The Dubai International Advertising Festival
One of the leading advertising events in the region, the festival incorporates the Dubai Lynx awards, tons of creative work, and lots of celebrating.

While the Dubai Lynx awards began in 2007, last year it was expanded into what is called today as The Dubai International Advertising Festival. In addition to the Dubai Lynx awards, the festival offers seminars and workshops with industry leaders, and helps raise the creative standards in the region.
Some of the speakers at the festival this year include Laura Desmond, the global CEO of the Starcom MediaVest Group, Tham Khai Meng, the worldwide creative director of Ogilvy & Mather, and Osman Sultan, the CEO of telecom operator du. The festival will also have exhibitions of the winning works from Cannes Lions 2008 and Eurobest 2008.
The festival is presented by the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival and its regional partner Motivate Publishing; it is held with the support of Dubai Media City and the UAE Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA).
