What is the Dubai Press Club? Who founded it? And why?

In 2002, the International Association of Press Clubs (IAPC) was established to “uphold the ethics of journalism and free access and distribution of information worldwide.” There are currently 20-member Press Clubs representing Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The DPC is the general secretariat and one of the founding members of IAPC. Being a founding member of the IAPC has puts the DPC in a “select league of international Press Clubs” and allowed its members to interact with their peers around the world.
