The DPC organizes the Kids Press Club, launched in 2000, “an annual media program for children – to familiarize youngsters with the world of media during the summer vacation.”
To familiarize children with the world of media and give them an “in depth understanding of the various functions at media organizations,” the program teaches them to write news reports for the radio and television, design flyers and newsletters, conduct interviews and organize press conferences. The program also includes numerous field trips to “leading” media houses.
