With Dubai Fashion Week coming close to its finish, Kipp takes a look at the up and coming Emirati designers who are, oddly, not participating in the event.

The Arena at the Dubai World Trade Centre was the location for this year’s instalment of the Dubai Fashion week, which saw 28 catwalk shows. The Emerging Talent section featured five “new generation” designers.
With a serious love for all things high-end related, it should come as no surprise that the UAE is home to a booming scene of Emirati designers. And yet, when we had a look at the list of designers showcased at DFW we noticed some of the familiar names weren’t quite well represented. In this module Kipp takes a look at six interesting Emirati designers: some super famous and others, well, almost famous, who are, oddly, not participating in the Dubai Fashion Week.
