We take a look at some of the famous brothers and sisters, Sheikh Mohammed little son named Zayed.

  • Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Princess Haya bint Al Hussein have announced the arrival of the a new member of their family-a baby boy. Sheikh Mohammed tweeted: "Princess Haya and I were blessed with a baby boy. We named him 'Zayed'.” In this slideshow we take you through some of the brothers and sisters little Zayed will keep company.

  • Sheikh Hamdan was appointed as crown prince of Dubai in February 2008, according to his father's decree. Forbes placed Sheikh Hamdan on #6 on their list of the 20 Hottest Young Royals for “attracting attention as an avid competitive equestrian and the chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.” Sheikh Hamdan is also known as Fazza'—under which pseudonym he publishes his poetry.

  • When she was 18 years old, Sheikha Latifa won the UAE Showjumping Championship in Abu Dhabi in 2003. A few years on, she participated in the 2006 Asian Games in Qatar as a member of the UAE team and walked away with a bronze medal. Her excellent performance at the Seventh Qatar International Showjumping Championship  meant Sheikha Latifa had qualified for the Beijing Olympics of 2008. An achievement that made her the first Emirati woman to qualify for an equestrian event in the Olympics, and the second Arab woman after Jordanian Princess Haya bint al Hussein, who took part in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

  • The fifth son of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum graduated from Rashid Private School in 2005 and joined the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom and was awarded upon his graduation in 2006 “ The Sword of Honor” at the age of 18 amongst 484 cadet officers.  Sheikh Majid led the UAE endurance team to victory at the 11th Pan Arab games in Cairo in 2007 where he snagged two Gold Medals. In 2008, Sheikh Majid was appointed Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts.

  • Sheikha Maitha is another member of the Dubai Royal Family to make it to Forbes’s 20 Hottest Young Royals. But that is hardly all of this princess’s accomplishment: Sheikha Maitha has represented the United Arab Emirates at international karate and tae kwon do competitions; and even won the silver medal in the 2006 Asian games. In 2007 she was awarded the Arab World's best female athlete award.

  • Maryam attended the Latifa School for Girls (Dubai), and she graduated in summer 2009. As of now, Sheikha Maryam has yet to pursue her further education. On her Facebook page, Sheikha Maryam lists “Horse back riding, Endurance racing, poetry, Traveling, Charity work, Socializing, animal lover. Confidence that you spot from miles away, Wild, is not afraid to experiment anything, lives her life well, yet so sweet, kind hearted and down to earth” in her description box.
