A quick Google search of Abdulhamid Juma will reveal a series of red carpet pictures of a man robed in a white khandoura with some of the finest stars from Hollywood, Bollywood and the Arabic cinema scene. Well, that is the kind of profile one develops when you are the chairman of an international film festival thinks Kipp (enviously). Most recently Abdulhamid Juma was appointed to the position of Deputy Director General of Dubai Development and Investment Authority (DDIA). Abdulhamid Juma graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. He also holds a PMC (Personnel Management Certificate) from Ashridge College in UK and a certificate from Harvard Business School for a General Manager Programme he attended in 2002, following which he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Media City. With a position and credentials like that, it should come to no surprise that Juma has rubbed shoulders in the past with head honcho…
