Naomi Campbell made history when she became the first black woman to be on the cover of Vogue magazine: apparently the late Yves Saint-Laurent threatened to break all association with the magazine if Campbell wasn’t put on the cover. At 5 ft 9 inches, Campbell, with her exotic mixed Chinese and Jamaican ancestory, found a place in the Big Six (a group of supermodels of the ’90′s that included Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss).
Though her beauty is indeed undeniable to most, so too are her fiery fits of rage which have even seen her face legal charges. In 2007 she was sentenced to community service for allegedly hitting her house keeper with a mobile phone and again in 2008 for assaulting police officers at Heathrow airport. But as fiery as she seems to be she is also well known for being a party girl of sorts. The last time she was in the Emirates she celebrated her party at Dubai’s ultimate destination…
