The Six Degrees of Madji du Pont

This year’s Longines FEI World Endurance Championship at Euston Park in Suffolk, UK saw participation from a total of 152 riders from 38 countries from across the globe, to compete for the gold title. Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum won the gold title becoming the champion of the World Endurance Championships 2012. Sheikh Rashid Dalmook Al Maktoum won the silver and Ali Khalfan Al Jahouri the bronze. The horse that led Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to victory is a 12-year-old French-bred chestnut gelding Madji Du Pont. Madji du Pont is based at the Emirates Stables in Dubai and is trained by endurance horse trainer…
