Princeton University, which is the fourth-oldest college in the United States, is a private coeducational institution that provides undergraduate and graduate courses in the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences and engineering, was founded in 1976. Presently located at its new quarters Nassau Hall, which was named in honour of the King William III, Prince of Orange, of the House of Nassau, what had been the College of New Jersey began to be known as the Princeton University. The University is known for producing many famous scholars and scientists, US Presidents: John F. Kennedy, James Madison and Woodrow Wilson, including several Nobel laureates, 29 in total. America’s 28th president and Princeton University’s 13th president, Professor Woodrow Wilson’s title of the keynote speech; “Princeton in the nation’s service” was adopted as an informal motto of the University. The First Lady Michelle Obama is reportedly going to Princeton in September to raise money for her husband’s presidential campaign. The University has a portrait of Michelle on the Class Photo Wall, of the Nassau Inn, honouring some of the most prestigious graduates and Alumni.
