Vijay Mallya
Gascoyne was employed by Mallya as technical boss at Force India, his Formula One team.
Mallya is a big time businessman, having established himself as a giant in the world drinks industry. He’s the chairman of United Breweries Group, as well as heading up the airline Kingfisher Airlines. As well as now controlling the F1 team (duties he seems to have taken over from Gascoyne), he has an Indian Premier League cricket team (the Bangalore Royal Challengers) and is an Indian MP. A busy man.
